You are invited to serve as author/reviewer for the
Symposium on Applied Computing (SAC'2001) -
Track on Mobile Computing Systems and Applications.
Papers are solicited in the following areas:

Mobile Agents

Integration of Mobile and Stationary Systems

Wireless Protocols

Mobile Multimedia Systems

Mobile Database Systems

Security and Privacy of Mobile Computing

Performance Evaluation of Mobile Systems and Protocols

Mobile System Protocols

Electronic Commerce Systems and Applications

Distributed Mobile Computing Systems and Applications

Object-based Mobile Computing Systems and Applications
Important dates:
September 1st, 2000 - papers due (if you need an extension let
me know)
October 13, 2000 - notification of acceptance
November 1st, 2000- camera-ready papers due
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Original papers from the above-mentioned areas will be considered.
This includes three categories of submissions:
-
Original and unpublished research.
-
Reports of innovative mobile computing applications in the arts, sciences,
engineering, business, government, education and industry.
-
Reports of successful technology transfer to new problem domains.
-
Long papers (up to 15 pages) and short papers (up to 6 pages) are solicited.
Each paper will be reviewed by a peer group. Accepted papers in
all categories will be published in the symposium proceedings. Expanded
versions of selected papers from all categories will be considered for
publication in the ACM/SIGAPP quarterly Applied Computing Review or one
of the other participating SIGs' publications. Submission guidelines must
be strictly followed:

Submit six (6) copies of original manuscripts to:

An electronic submission via e-mail is also recommended. The file format
should be either MS-Word or Postcript.

The author(s) name(s) and address(es) must not appear in the body of
the paper, and self-reference should be in the third person. This is to
facilitate blind review.

The body of paper should not exceed 4,000 words (approximately 15 pages,
double-spaced).
-
A separate cover sheet attached to each copy should show the title of
the paper, the author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s), and the address (including
e-mail, telephone, and FAX) to which correspondence should be sent.
