1. MacCurveFit
MacCurveFit is a wonderful curve plotting, curve fitting, and
data analysis program which was written by a scientist rather than a statistician.
It will fit your data to a straight line y= ax+ b, give you the a and b
values, and give the standard error of a and b individually. Plus all the
higher power and exponential fitting you could want.
It is available on the Macintosh Freeware and Shareware sites.
The author has an email address at k.raner@chen.csiro.au
2. CampOS Math - Pierian Spring Software

Among the many topics covered in the program, it includes interactive devices
that help students with fractions, primes, percents, ratios, and
many more unique illustrations of mathematics.

Written by a senior-level Computer Science major at the University
of Washington and available from the author for download at http://www.oz.net/~bordenet
5. MathPad
MathPad is simple and obvious to use, and extremely powerful.
It is much more than a calculator if you wish to learn programming constructs.
Makes plots too! Tiny RAM footprint, runs on every mac ever made. Mark Widholm
wrote the application. FREEWARE!!
One user states: "I love using it for prototyping major projects in
my MSc engineering classes."
