North Ridge Trail rises steeply and steadily from the west end of the park at Carbon Canyon to the spectacular view from atop Gilman Peak (elev. 514 m/1685') and back down to Telegraph Canyon via Sycamore or McDermont Trail. The views of Orange County and Catalina from this trail make the uphill climb well worth the effort and time.
